Texas State Fair October 2014

We went home to Dallas to let Hunter and Hollis experience the greatness of the Texas State Fair and Big Tex....we had a great time, Hunter tried chicken fried bacon and LOVED it!  Aunt Jessa came in town to go with us as well as both sets of grandparents!!!!

God for sure works in mysterious ways - I was put on bed rest for the last 10 days before Hollis was born, so my mother-in-law was gracious enough to fly out to help with our family.  Then my parents started the drive to Durango a week later and then my father-in-law drove out to pick up my mother-in-law....so in a nutshell all the grandparents were here to meet Hollis the day she was born, which is amazing!!!!!!

It was such a happy moment with Hunter, who is 3.5 years old got to meet his baby sister Hollis for the first time!  We had been talking about her everyday since we found out we were having a girl!  He was just in awe of his baby sister.  And of course when Hollis gave Hunter a fire truck that made it all that much better!

Hollis Gibson Wall

I can't believe I have not updated our family blog in so long to add our precious baby girl Hollis Gibson Wall that was born on June 23, 2014. She was born at 7:59 am and weighed in at 5 pounds 14 ounces and 17.5 inches long.  She was quite a bit smaller than her big brother (by 2 pounds), but she was welcomed into the world almost 4 weeks early!

Sutherland Farms

We had a great family and friends trip to Sutherland Farms to see the pumpkin and fall in the corn pit!

Hunter had a great 2nd birthday party...he was lucky enough to have both sets of grandparents and his Uncle Chris, Aunt Nikki and Cousin Brett come to celebrate as well as his friends!
